This course is designed for all skill levels. Reading and understanding of commercial patterns will be explained. All aspects of machine sewing, including the use of an overlocker, will be developed. Any fabric may be used, but if you are a beginner please choose fabric carefully. It is recommended that beginners avoid Burda patterns.
Fantastic course. Haven’t done any dressmaking for a long time and now there will be no stopping me! Jenny is a great tutor, really approachable and patient.

Jennifer Ashpole - Create your own fashion
Jennifer Ashpole holds a diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Education. She has also completed a short fashion course in Paris at the Paris American Fashion Academy.
She has been teaching since 1979 in a wide range of educational areas. This includes teaching Textiles and Design at HSC level and Design & Technology and Computer Science to Year 10 students.
Jennifer has enjoyed changing her focus to adult education, teaching dressmaking with Mosman Community College, since the late 1980's.
