iRest (Integrative Restoration) is based on a modern evolution of the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. The practise assists with calming the central nervous system which increases resilience to stress and anxiety.

Research has found that iRest can help resolve issues such as insomnia, anxiety, fear and depression. There is also evidence that iRest can decrease symptom severity in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), alleviate depression, substance dependence, and improve sleep quality. Furthermore, iRest can help promote wellbeing by aiding the release of blocked emotions and negative thought patterns.


Please bring a yoga Mat or towel, Pillow, & Blanket

About the presenter

Alison's career of 25+ years was initially in the corporate arena. She has lived and worked across Australia, Asia and in Europe in various Business Consulting roles. At the age of 30 Alison immersed herself in the study of various complimentary therapies with a strong focus in energetic medicine and meditation. She also became an NLP Practitioner and professional coach. Alison's life has changed significantly and now her true passion is to facilitate healing in others. "I love to inspire and empower all my clients to become aware of their unlimited potential for living a wonderful life full of vitality and happiness". One of Alisons primary roles is to educate her clients on how the mind, body and energy are all inter related. The treatments are non-invasive, They can assist in dealing with specific ailments, reduce stress and tension, increase energy flow, strengthen the immune system and bring about a feeling of deep relaxation and wellbeing. Meditation plays an important role in Alison's treatment regime as a practitioner and for her clients. It is the key to positive thinking and returns the body to a natural state of balance. It allows us to experience a high and sustainable level of peace of mind.
