In this course you will learn about the personal qualities typical of a boss so that you can start to understand what makes them tick.
* You will discover the leadership style of your boss to better understand what they want from you.
* Learn how to really impress your boss so that they will trust you with important tasks
* Explore how to be more assertive with your boss so they will trust you with important tasks

About the presenter

Keith Whelan

I have worked for several national and local newspapers as well as freelancing and have been teaching creative writing for the past eight years in Ireland and Australia.

Amongst the libraries I have taught in are Wyong Shire Council, Cessnock City Council, The Hills Council, Hornsby Council, Burwood Council, Holroyd Library, Ashfield Library, Warringah Library City of Ryde Council and Port Stephens Council.

I have also conducted a Creative Writing as part of the John Hopkins CTYI Programme in the University of Limerick, Ireland as a ten week course and also as part of the curriculum at the Centre for Adult Education at the University of Limerick.

The course has also been included in several Library Programmes for Children's Book Festival and Writer's Weeks in Ireland. I also teach at the University of Sydney - Centre for Continuing Education, WEA Hunter, Central Coast Community College, Hornsby/Kur-un-gai Community College, Kur-un-gai Arts Centre, Newcastle Museum and Tuggerah Lakes Community College
