How do I pay for a course?
For online, faxed or posted enrolments the College accepts Visa and Mastercard. The College accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard, cheque or money order by mail. Cash is accepted for enrolments in person at our office in Mosman High School. Enrolments are not taken at any of our other course venues. The College is not able to hold places in courses nor take deposits on course fees. Many classes have limited numbers and the first students to enrol will gain a place in the course. Who is eligible to enrol in courses?
There is no entry requirement for our courses however as an adult education provider we are only able to enrol participants over the age of 14 years 9 months. Babies and children are not permitted to attend classes with their parents.
How do I know if my enrolment was successful?
Enrolments are confirmed by email so if you are filling out an enrolment form please write legibly. If you do not have an email address or have not received confirmation please phone our office on 9968 4000.
What if my course is cancelled?
If your course is cancelled you will be notified by our staff and offered a refund of your course fee or a transfer to another course or to the next term.
Where can I park at Mosman High School or Spit Junction?
There is no parking permitted in the Mosman High School grounds between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.00 pm. In the evenings and on Saturdays students may park in the school grounds, in the teacher's car park or on-street. For classes at Spit Junction there is parking available at BridgePoint (bottom level - 3 hours free), Cache Shopping Centre, and Mosman Library car park (2 hour limit) and on-street.
What bus do I catch to get to Mosman High School?
Mosman High School and 678-680 Military Road Spit Junction are on the bus routes to Mosman Junction and Clifton Gardens (247), Balmoral (257) Mosman Wharf (230) and Taronga Zoo (246) and there is a late night return service to Wynyard (247) and Milsons Point (230).
How do I know what room to go to when I get there?
Our office is located inside the main gate at the Gladstone Avenue entrance to Mosman High School and is open while all classes are running with staff always in attendance. During the first week of term we have extra staff and College Committee members at the entrances directing students to their classrooms.
What happens if the course is run outdoors and it's raining on the day?
Most classes go ahead even when it is raining however if the class is postponed you will be notified by our office.
Are classes held on Public Holidays?
We do not hold classes on Public Holidays instead the lesson is usually made up at the end of term.
Where do I buy the textbook for my language class?
The College does not provide the textbooks set by the language tutors. All books need to be purchased before the first class. Recommended suppliers are:

Are there any discounts on course fees?
A discount of 10% is available on most courses for NSW Seniors Card holders and recipients of a Centrelink benefit when a valid card number/CRN is supplied on the enrolment form. Courses that do not offer a discount have "no concession" included in the course description. Discounts are not available for online enrolments.
Where can I get a new term brochure?
Australia Post provides a letterbox drop to residents of Mosman and surrounding suburbs however if you have a "no junk mail" sticker on the letterbox it will not be delivered. Our new term brochures are available from our office in Mosman High School, Mosman Library, Stanton Library, Artarmon Library, Willoughby Library, Lane Cove Library, Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre, Oracle Bookstore, Pages & Pages Book Shop and the Cremorne Orpheum Theatre.
What do I wear for exercise or dance classes?
As a general rule it's best to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. For most exercise classes such as yoga you will be lying on the floor and you must bring a yoga mat or towel to lie on. For massage classes you need to wear a swimsuit under your clothes. For ballroom dancing leather soled shoes are preferred but many dance and exercise classes are undertaken in bare feet.
How often are courses run?
Each term runs for 9 weeks however many courses are held over 8 weeks others run for 4 weeks or as one-day workshops. Some language courses run for 18 weeks over two terms. There are 4 terms per year and most courses are repeated each term.
Is there a computer for everybody in a computer class?
Every student attending has a computer to work on therefore the computer classes are limited to 10 students.
Are the cooking courses demonstration or hands on?
The cooking classes are hands on and all students participate in preparing the recipes.
How do I request a tax invoice for my course?
Tax invoices may be requested by phone (9968 4000) or email (mecenrol@swiftdsl.com.au) and can be either emailed or posted to the address you have supplied.
